T.J. Whitelam Plumbing & Heating
Local plumbing repairs, bathroom installations, wet rooms and accessible bathroom adaptations in York. Get practical advice and personal service from Tom Whitelam.
From a dripping tap to leaking pipework, small plumbing problems deserve a proper repair. I undertake tap repairs and replacements, kitchen sink work, washing machine connections and waste and soil pipe repairs. Tell me where the problem is, how long it has been happening and your location in York or the surrounding area when you get in touch.
A well-planned bathroom should work with your available space and daily routine. I can help you discuss the layout, choose suitable fittings and understand the plumbing and installation work involved. Before work begins, we can agree the scope and the practical arrangements. Where your project needs other trades, I can recommend independent specialists.
I work on wet rooms and bathroom adaptations designed around individual access needs. The position of sanitaryware, ease of movement and space for assistance all matter when planning a practical room. Share any occupational therapist’s recommendations and details of mobility equipment so these can inform the layout and choice of fittings.
